Minimalism has become a big keyword. Suddenly there’s a minimalist version of almost everything. But is this the right way out of consumerism? I think it can be. But only if we don’t take it (again) to the extreme. I believe there’s a joyful middle path between extreme minimalism and over-the-top consumption. The key is to be very selective about what we invite into our lives – and genuinely appreciate all that we decide to have or choose to do. This is, how I understand it, new minimalism.
